25 Aug Business Network Center’s Covid-19 response
The Business Network Center staff has been working and preparing the building for your return. We have been following the latest information from the CDC, the Governor’s Office and the Illinois Dept. of Health and Safety. Our staff will continue to sanitize all high-touch surfaces regularly, as we are advocates of public health and safety is a top priority.
In order to comply with the Governor’s mandates and CDC guidelines, the following protocols will be set in place. We ask that you follow these guidelines and regulations when you are in our building beginning June 1, 2020 and until further notice.
1. If you have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for Covid 19, please stay home. If you are sick with Covid 19 or have tested positive, please advise the front desk by phone or email that you will be out or are in self-quarantine.
2. If you need to cough or sneeze please do so in your elbow or in a tissue. We will ask to take your temperature daily between the hours of 9-4, with a touch-less thermometer. If you have a temperature of over 100F we will ask you to go home, until your symptoms have cleared, possibly 7-14 days.
3. The Governor has mandated that all employees and guests wear face coverings. That means you will be required to wear a face covering when entering our building and in all common areas.
4. Please limit occupancy of the elevator to two people at a time.
5. Only one person at a time in the mailroom.
6. The building will remain locked to the public 24 hours. If you are expecting a guest, you will need to meet them at the front door. You will need to make sure they are wearing a face covering. Your guests must remain either in your office or in a conference room and not be waiting in any common areas. Your guests will have their temperature checked with a touch-less thermometer between the hours of 9am-4pm.
7. There will be hand sanitizer stations throughout the building, however we ask that you adhere to frequent hand washing of no less than 20 seconds in order to keep yourself healthy.
8. The CDC recommends that you use social distancing of 6’ when possible.
9. Please keep your office door closed at all times while you are on-site.
We hope you consider these health and safety measures reasonable, if you have any questions please contact Marie at 847-219-1087 or you can reach Stephanie at 847-962-2162.
